Todd Sammann | Managing Principal
Prior to forming Narrative Capital in 2015, Mr. Sammann was a Principal and Head of Credit Strategies at Colony Capital, a Los Angeles-based private equity firm. Beyond overseeing the deployment of more than $5 Billion across a variety of vehicles, Mr. Sammann launched and served as CEO of two specialty finance platform companies, including Colony Mortgage Capital, a transitional CRE bridge lender, and Colony American Finance, a provider of bridge & permanent loans to the single family rental industry. Mr. Sammann also served on the Board of Directors of ChannelPoint Hospitality and ColFin Cobalt Industrial REIT.
Prior to joining Colony in 2008, Mr. Sammann was Managing Director and Head of North American Large Loan Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities at Deutsche Bank, where he oversaw the origination of more than $50 Billion of structured real estate financings, leveraged buyouts and other M&A-related transactions. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Mr. Sammann spent six years at Goldman, Sachs & Co. as a Vice President within the real estate investment banking unit.
Mr. Sammann earned a Masters of Business Administration degree from Duke University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Berkeley. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the CRE Finance Council and serves on the Board of Trustees of Seven Arrows School in Pacific Palisades, CA.
Christian Fuqua | Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Fuqua is the Chief Operating Officer at Narrative Capital, with oversight over the firm’s operations, including origination and acquisition activities, finance and legal. Mr. Fuqua is also a member of the firm’s investment committee.
Prior to joining Narrative Capital in 2016, Mr. Fuqua was a Senior Vice President at Colony Capital, where he spent eight years focused on underwriting, negotiating and executing performing and non-performing debt and equity investments, including first mortgages, mezzanine loans, preferred equity and equity investments across all major asset classes. Prior to joining Colony in 2008, Mr. Fuqua spent three years at Bear Stearns focused on mergers & acquisitions across the technology, media, telecom and real estate sectors.
Mr. Fuqua earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce, with Distinction, from the University of Virginia. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the CRE Finance Council.
Robert Stanbrook | Head of Credit
Mr. Stanbrook is the Head of Credit at Narrative Capital, with responsibility for all aspects of underwriting, due diligence and structuring of Narrative’s originated and acquired assets. Mr. Stanbrook is also a member of the firm’s investment committee.
Prior to joining Narrative in 2016, Mr. Stanbrook was Head of Underwriting at Colony Mortgage Capital, where he oversaw the underwriting, structuring and closing of more than $2.0 Billion of first mortgage loans secured by transitional CRE assets. Prior to his tenure at Colony, Mr. Stanbrook spent five years underwriting commercial real estate assets collateralizing performing and non-performing loans at Karlin Asset Management.
Mr. Stanbrook earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance, with Distinction, from Loyola Marymount University. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the CRE Finance Council.
Kelly Corridon | Head of Portfolio Management
Ms. Corridon is the Head of Portfolio Management at Narrative Capital, with responsibility for maximizing performance of the firm’s investment portfolio. Ms. Corridon is also a member of the firm’s investment committee.
Prior to joining Narrative Capital in 2016, Ms. Corridon spent six years with Met Life’s Real Estate Capital Markets Team as an Investment Manager, focusing on building a portfolio of REIT and CMBS securities. Prior to his tenure at Met Life, Ms. Corridon spent nine years originating and managing workouts of non-performing mortgage loans at Chase Manhattan Bank, Neworld Bank and Fleet Bank.
Ms. Corridon earned a Bachelor of Science degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Providence College and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). She is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the CRE Finance Council.
Eric Anderson | Head of Business Development & Investor Relations
Mr. Anderson is the Head of Business Development & Investor Relations at Narrative Capital, with responsibility for interface with investors and potential strategic partners.
Prior to joining Narrative in 2015, Mr. Anderson served as Head of Business Development at COR Capital, where he oversaw the capital formation of various private equity transactions including the purchase of Legent Clearing and First PacTrust Bank. Prior to COR Capital, Mr. Anderson served as Managing Director at Lahde Capital where he oversaw the capital formation for Andrew Lahde’s credit strategies hedge funds. Prior to Lahde Capital, Mr. Anderson raised $400M for JPS Capital’s CRE bridge lending platform in NYC. Prior to capital introduction, Mr. Anderson was Vice President and Senior Trader at Fleet Capital Markets for 15 years.
Mr. Anderson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of South Florida. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the CRE Finance Council.
Edward Paje | Vice President, Operations
Mr. Paje joined Narrative as a Vice President in 2016, with responsibility for the firm’s operations, including acquisition activities, finance and legal. Prior to his tenure at Narrative, Mr. Paje was an Associate at Colony Mortgage Capital, where he underwrote and closed more than $600 Million of first mortgage loans secured by transitional CRE assets and helped manage the financing of mortgage loans through CRE CLO securitization. Prior to his tenure at Colony Mortgage Capital, Mr. Paje was an Analyst with Greenhill & Co.’s Real Asset Capital Advisory team, where he raised institutional equity capital from global limited partners for real estate private equity and joint venture sponsors.
Mr. Paje earned a Bachelor of Science degree, Magna Cum Laude, from New York University. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the CRE Finance Council.
