    Fixed / floating 10.00% and above

  • TODD SAMMANN
    MANAGING PRINCIPAL

    Mr. Sammann is the Managing Principal & founder of Narrative Capital and chairs the firm’s Investment Committee.

    Prior to forming Narrative Capital in 2015, Mr. Sammann was a Principal and Head of Credit Strategies at Colony Capital, a Los Angeles-based private equity firm. During his tenure, Colony deployed more than $5 Billion across a variety of credit strategies and investment vehicles. Mr. Sammann also launched and served as CEO of two specialty finance platform companies, including Colony Mortgage Capital, a transitional CRE bridge lender, and Colony American Finance, a provider of bridge and permanent loans to the single family rental industry. Mr. Sammann also served on the Board of Directors of ChannelPoint Hospitality and ColFin Cobalt Industrial REIT.

    Prior to joining Colony in 2008, Mr. Sammann was Managing Director and Head of North American Large Loan Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities at Deutsche Bank, where he oversaw the origination of more than $50 Billion of structured real estate financings, leveraged buyouts and other M&A-related transactions. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Mr. Sammann spent six years at Goldman, Sachs & Co. as a Vice President within the real estate investment banking unit.

    Mr. Sammann earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Duke University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Berkeley. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the CRE Finance Council.

  • CHRISTIAN FUQUA
    CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

    Mr. Fuqua is the Chief Operating Officer at Narrative, with oversight over the firm’s operations, including origination and acquisition activities, finance, accounting, human resources, compliance and legal. Mr. Fuqua is also a member of the firm’s Investment Committee.

    Prior to joining Narrative in 2016, Mr. Fuqua was a Senior Vice President at Colony Capital, where he spent eight years focused on underwriting, negotiating and executing performing and non-performing debt and equity investments, including first mortgages, mezzanine loans, preferred equity and equity investments across all major asset classes. Prior to joining Colony in 2008, Mr. Fuqua spent three years at Bear Stearns focused on mergers & acquisitions across the technology, media, telecom and real estate sectors.

    Mr. Fuqua earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce, with Distinction, from the University of Virginia. He is a member of the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council.

  • ROB STANBROOK
    CHIEF CREDIT OFFICER

    Mr. Stanbrook is the Chief Credit Officer at Narrative, with oversight over the firm’s credit underwriting activity. Mr. Stanbrook is also a member of the firm’s Investment Committee.

    Prior to joining Narrative in 2017, Mr. Stanbrook was Head of Underwriting at Colony Mortgage Capital and Vice President at Colony Capital, where he spent four years focused on underwriting, negotiating and executing debt investments across all major asset classes. Prior to joining Colony in 2013, Mr. Stanbrook was a member of the acquisitions team at Karlin Asset Management/Calmwater Capital.

    Mr. Stanbrook earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, Magna Cum Laude, from Loyola Marymount University. He is a member of the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council.  

  • KELLY CORRIDON
    HEAD OF PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT

    Ms. Corridon is the Head of Portfolio Management at Narrative, with responsibility for maximizing performance of the firm’s investment portfolio. Ms. Corridon is also a member of the firm’s Investment Committee.

    Prior to joining Narrative in 2016, Ms. Corridon spent six years with Met Life’s Real Estate Capital Markets Team as an Investment Manager, focusing on building a portfolio of REIT and CMBS securities. Prior to her tenure at Met Life, Ms. Corridon spent nine years originating and managing workouts of non-performing mortgage loans at Chase Manhattan Bank and Fleet Bank.

    Ms. Corridon earned a Bachelor of Science degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Providence College and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). She is a member of the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council.

  • ERIC ANDERSON
    HEAD OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & INVESTOR RELATIONS

    Mr. Anderson is the Head of Business Development & Investor Relations at Narrative, with responsibility for interfacing with investors and potential strategic partners.

    Prior to joining Narrative in 2015, Mr. Anderson served as Head of Business Development at COR Capital, where he oversaw capital formation for various private equity transactions including the purchase of Legent Clearing and First PacTrust Bank. Prior to COR Capital, Mr. Anderson served as Managing Director at Lahde Capital where he oversaw capital formation for Andrew Lahde’s credit strategies hedge funds. Prior to Lahde Capital, Mr. Anderson raised $400 Million for JPS Capital’s CRE bridge lending platform. Previously, Mr. Anderson was Vice President and Senior Trader at Fleet Capital Markets for 15 years.

    Mr. Anderson attended the University of South Florida. He is a member of the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council.

  • CHARLES KIM
    MANAGING DIRECTOR

    Mr. Kim is a Managing Director at Narrative, with responsibility for origination and execution of debt and equity investments.

    Prior to joining Narrative, Mr. Kim spent two years as Managing Director at Realty Mogul, where he sourced, structured & closed bridge mortgage, mezzanine and preferred equity investments across all major asset classes nationally. Previously, Mr. Kim spent five years at Colony Capital, most recently as Vice President of Colony Mortgage Capital, where he sourced, structured, closed and managed transitional mortgage loans, mezzanine loans and preferred equity investments secured by all major types of commercial real estate assets. Previously, Mr. Kim spent five years as Vice President at Imperial Capital Bank where he underwrote and originated senior loans and syndicated / participation credits across real estate and other industries.

    Mr. Kim earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Science from the University of California at San Diego. Mr. Kim also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association and the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council.

  • EDWARD PAJE
    VICE PRESIDENT, OPERATIONS

    Mr. Paje serves as Vice President, with responsibility for the firm’s operations, including origination and acquisition activities, finance and legal.

    Prior to joining Narrative in 2016, Mr. Paje was a Senior Analyst at Colony Capital, where he underwrote and closed more than $600 Million of first mortgage loans secured by transitional CRE assets and helped manage the financing of mortgage loans through CRE CLO securitization. Prior to his tenure at Colony Capital, Mr. Paje was an Analyst at Greenhill & Co., where he provided financial advisory and raised institutional equity capital for real estate private equity and joint venture sponsors.

    Mr. Paje earned a Bachelor of Science degree, Magna Cum Laude, from New York University. He is a member of the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council.
